On 28th of June 2012, Zhu Yongling, the director of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge authority and Liu Ziming, the chairman of MBEC has signed the construction contract of Hong kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (CB05).

The accepted contract amount of this project is 3,739 million RMB and the construction period 57 months. The total length of the main line of CB05 is 6653m, including the main line Bridge of 6368m. The Main Line Bridge is being built solely by MBEC.
